The Dallas Cowboys need to have their best offensive players on the field every single game.
That’s why watching CeeDee Lamb fall with an ankle injury sounded the alarms for Cowboys fans.
However, the coach downplayed the severity of his ankle injury, and judging by Jerry Jones’ words, people should pump the brakes on those worries.
Per Jon Machota of The Athletic, the controversial team owner gave Lamb a “thumbs up” regarding his chances of suiting up for their divisional clash with the Washington Commanders.

The Cowboys didn’t practice on Monday, but he was still added to the injury report as “limited.”
The team will actually practice on Wednesday, and that’s where the coaches — and thus, the fans — will know for sure where Lamb is in terms of his health.
The superstar wideout is coming off one of the most modest games of the season, grabbing six receptions for 38 yards and a score.
The Cowboys didn’t find much trouble beating the Carolina Panthers, 33-10.
Lamb was coming off four straight games with at least 117 receiving yards and at least 11 receptions.
As of now, he currently ranks second in the league in receiving yards (1,013).
The fact that most of that production has come over the past month-and-a-half only makes it all the more impressive, though, as he was barely featured in the passing game earlier in the campaign, leading to some complaints.
Hopefully, it won’t be anything serious and we’ll see him back at his best on Sunday.
