The Kansas City Chiefs entered the season as the reigning champions, and they’ve been one of the biggest powerhouses in the game for quite a while now.
Their record is still one of the best in the league, but they’re no longer the team to beat in the league; that’s just a fact.
Most of that has had to do with their offensive flaws, which seems crazy, considering the fact that they have the best quarterback, the best tight end, and the best offensive play-caller in the game.
That’s why Craig Carton and Willie Colon debated that perhaps Eric Bieniemy was more important than they wanted to make it seem.
In the latest edition of “The Carton Show,” Craig Carton stated that the only thing that has changed is that there’s a different guy on the sidelines, and while Bieniemy hasn’t done a solid job in Washington, it’s more than evident that they miss him in Kansas City.
“The Kansas City Chiefs are broken right now. Maybe Eric Bieniemy was really good. “

Travis Kelce recently stated that he’s contemplating retirement, and while that’s a valid thought for a two-time Super Bowl champion who’s already 34 years old, it also speaks volumes about the current status of his team.
Perhaps he’s just trying to use his leverage to get a new contract, or perhaps he’s truly thinking of walking away from the game.
And while it’s impossible to count the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes out, they just don’t seem like the perennial Super Bowl threat they’ve been ever since he took over as their starting quarterback.
