The Seattle Seahawks’ offensive woes continue.
A banged-up Geno Smith was unable to lead his team to a win that could’ve propelled them to their first spot in the NFC West.
He wasn’t as mobile and quick as he usually is, but the Seahawks’ offensive issues go well beyond his performance or health.
Pete Carroll’s team hasn’t scored an offensive touchdown in the past seven quarters and has had just three total touchdowns in the last four games.
When asked about that, Smith stated that he still has faith in the coaches and the players, adding that it’s just a tough stretch and that he’s confident in their ability to turn the page soon (via Brady Henderson).
Seattle hasn’t scored an offensive TD in seven quarters and has just three in the last four games.
Geno Smith on that trend: “I still believe in our coaches. I still believe in our players. I think it’s been a tough stretch for us, but I believe that things will turn around.”

Seahawks OC Shane Waldron has been under heavy fire as of late.
They have many impactful offensive weapons, yet it seems like their offense has become too predictable, especially on first down with the constant runs through the middle.
D.K. Metcalf is obviously WR1, and rightfully so, but it seems like they’re misusing Jaxson Smith-Njigba and Tyler Lockett, as both can line up outside or in the slot and they’re not even shifting them throughout the course of the game.
Even so, the Seahawks are 6-5 and second in their division.
A divisional pennant seems almost impossible after this two-game losing streak, and their schedule for the remainder of the season is difficult.
They’ll travel to face the Dallas Cowboys and Niners on the road before heading back home to host the Philadelphia Eagles.
That’s not who you want to face when you want to get out of a slump.
