The Minnesota Vikings started the season 0-3 and all signs were pointing to a lost season.
But, the Vikings have won six of their last eight games and are back in the playoff picture.
Winning six of eight is impressive, and it is even more so when you consider WR Justin Jefferson has missed every game.
Jefferson has been out since Week 6 with a hamstring injury.
But, it appears he is closing in on a potential return.
According to Kevin Seifert, Jefferson was non-committal about playing in the Vikings’ Week 12 game on Monday night.
He said, “If I’m feeling good, I will play.”
Justin Jefferson said his hamstring recovery is going well and that he has reached top speeds during practice. He wasn’t ready to say if he thinks he can play Monday night tho. “If I’m feeling good, I will play,” he said. More to come.

Minnesota is on bye in Week 13, so it might make sense that Jefferson sits this week and returns after the bye.
The Vikings know with Jefferson on the field they are a better offense.
But, Jefferson has not been able to build any chemistry with new quarterback Josh Dobbs.
Dobbs has played very well in Minnesota and has helped keep their season alive.
He should be even better with an elite wide receiver to throw to.
Many people are wondering if Jefferson is taking a while to come back due to his contract situation.
Next season is the last year of his deal, and he does not want to risk re-injury.
Jefferson is expected to become the highest-paid wide receiver in football.
But, Jefferson has stated that his recovery timeline has nothing to do with his contract situation.
Even if we do not see Jefferson play this week, he should be back by Week 14.
