During his tenure with the Las Vegas Raiders, pass rusher Maxx Crosby has been one of the most durable players in the entire NFL.
Sure, Crosby has been banged up by injuries here and there, but he’s always managed to find a way to suit up for the Raiders each and every week during his career with the franchise.
His streak of durability seemed like it was going to be in jeopardy when Las Vegas listed him as doubtful on their final injury report earlier this week, but according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Twitter, it sounds like Crosby is still going to try and take the field on Sunday against the rival Kansas City Chiefs.
Entering today, 67 players have been listed as doubtful this season and none of them played in that week’s game, per @EpKap. Raiders’ DE Maxx Crosby plans to try to become the first player this season to play in a game in which he’s listed as doubtful. https://t.co/asG8Bj32wl

Sunday’s matchup against the Chiefs is a big one for Crosby and the Raiders, as Las Vegas is still hoping to win enough games to qualify for this season’s playoffs.
With a 5-6 record heading into Sunday, Las Vegas doesn’t have much wiggle room, and a loss to Kansas City could be devastating for their postseason hopes.
Getting a win over the Chiefs won’t be easy for the Raiders, but it won’t be impossible either.
This season, Kansas City hasn’t been the same offensive juggernaut that they have been in the past, and it’s resulted in their games being decided by much smaller margins than they typically have during the last few years.
Las Vegas will certainly have a much better chance to win with Crosby out on the field to chase Chiefs All-Pro quarterback Patrick Mahomes around all day.
Will the veteran pass rusher and the rest of his Raiders teammates find a way to upset the mighty Chiefs?
