The Las Vegas Raiders have made an interesting choice about one of their starting cornerbacks.
After a tough loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, the Raiders knew changes needed to be made.
According to Vic Tafur via FOX Sports: NFL, the Raiders have released cornerback Marcus Peters.

Peters was benched during Sunday’s game, and this move frees up cap space.
The veteran cornerback had one interception and five passes defended in 12 games with the Raiders.
One spot where he consistently struggled was in run support.
Peters has never been known for making tackles and that was no different this year.
With Peters headed to waivers, you have to think some teams will be interested.
Many teams around the league are looking for a cornerback, and Peters is still serviceable.
It will be interesting to see if Peters gets claimed or if he clears waivers and can pick where he wants to play.
There are not many cornerbacks that have the aggressiveness of Peters.
More often than not he gets beat deep because he is trying to jump a pass.
But, he has come up with a fair share of interceptions throughout his career.
He has 33 interceptions in eight seasons.
Yet, there have been reports of “minimal effort” being shown by Peters in games.
Effort has been something that many people have questioned with Peters over the years.
Any team that is looking for a risk-taker at cornerback should take a shot at the veteran.
But, thinking he can be a difference-maker for a defense may be foolish.
