One of the biggest storylines from Week 12 of the NFL Season is the Carolina Panthers firing Frank Reich.
Reich was brought in to hopefully help Bryce Young develop, and provide fresh insight and ideas to a struggling organization.
Instead, his tenure was unsuccessful, resulting in this mid-season fire.
Now, the Panthers are left with an interim coach, unsure about what their future holds.
One possibility for a head coach in 2024 is Greg Olsen, as The Athletic reports that he would be interested in the position.
NEWS: Ex-Carolina tight end Greg Olsen, the color analyst on Fox’s No. 1 NFL crew, would be interested in the Panthers’ vacancy if he were approached, according to sources.@josephperson and @richarddeitsch have more details

Olsen is a beloved figure within the organization, as he is one of the best players in franchise history.
He has now made a name for himself within the broadcasting community as well, a generally well-liked commentator around the league.
However, it seems that he is willing to give that job up for a chance to coach his former team.
While he might want to make that happen, there are significant barriers for Olsen to even be considered for this job.
The biggest, of course, is his lack of coaching experience.
As Joe Person and Richard Deitsch of The Athletic pointed out, Olsen’s coaching experience only extends to his son’s Pop Warner team.
He doesn’t have the NFL experience that most teams would desire, and if he was unsuccessful, the team would not only suffer as a result but would also face significant scrutiny.
The Indianapolis Colts tried a similar experiment with Jeff Saturday, but he was unable to overcome a lack of NFL coaching experience.
