One of the main talking points surrounding the NFL this season is the playing surface.
Some stadiums do not have a playing surface that protects players.
Many people have discussed that the turf at MetLife Stadium is one of the worst in the NFL.
That is the home stadium of the New York Jets and Giants.
We have seen significant injuries happen to players on that field this year.
Both Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Miami Dolphins edge rusher Jaelan Phillips tore their Achilles at MetLife Stadium.
The playing surface has been a problem for many years and numerous players have spoken out against it.
But, Rodgers seems to think there are a lot worse places to play, via Ari Meirov.
Aaron Rodgers on players complaining about the surface at MetLife Stadium: “There’s a lot worse places than MetLife, I can promise you that. … I can give you a lot of stadiums that are sh**holes comparatively.”

Rodgers did not mention which stadiums he thinks are worse.
But, the fact that playing surfaces are talked about so much is a problem.
The NFL has a 100% injury rate, but that does not mean teams should have poor fields.
Many players have voiced their opinions about playing on grass fields over turf.
Yet, the NFL has not done anything about it.
The product on the field has taken a hit this year with so many quarterback injuries.
While not every injury is due to the surface, some are contributing factors.
The NFL is at its best when all of the best players are healthy.
Some of the games have become unwatchable due to a lack of quality quarterback play.
The league has to do a better job of listening to players when it comes to their health and safety.
After all, the league will benefit the most when the best players are on the field.
