The best NFL game of the holiday weekend was, without a doubt, the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles going head-to-head in an all-out battle that resulted in a thrilling finish in overtime.
Even though the Bills played incredibly well with superstar quarterback Josh Allen leading the way for Buffalo, it was Jalen Hurts and company that were able to come out on top in Week 12, with an impressive final drive in overtime to seal the deal.
Hurts scored his second rushing touchdown of the day and led his team to its ninth victory of the season, which keeps the team sporting the best record in the NFL up to this point at 9-1.
Retired superstar quarterback Tom Brady chimed in on whether he felt Sunday’s game between the Eagles and Bills was the game of the year on SiriusXM NFL Radio with Jim Gray and Larry Fitzgerald.

Clearly, the showdown between these two NFL heavyweights got Brady amped up, as he said he loves to see these kinds of games but wishes it would happen more often.
Unfortunately for Buffalo, the Bills fell to 6-6 on the season as a result of the loss to the Eagles, which could prove costly to their hopes of clinching a playoff spot in the AFC.
As for the Eagles, it is another step forward for Hurts and company as this team from Philadelphia continues to show its resiliency and is unwilling to back down from an opponent.
It’ll be interesting to see where both teams go from here, as they both have Super Bowl aspirations.
