It’s not a surprise to see the Denver Broncos doing well this season.
What is surprising is the way they turned things around after such a terrible start to the campaign, as most teams would’ve just waved the white flag and tried to rebuild.
The front office and the players had plenty of faith in Sean Payton, and now we can see why.
As pointed out by Sunday Night Football on NBC on Twitter, the Broncos are currently tied with the Philadelphia Eagles as the only two teams in the league with five-game winning streaks.

We’re talking about a team that allowed 70 points in a single game and that needed one month and one epic late-game meltdown to get their first win of the season.
The Broncos defense has been lights out over the past month-and-a-half, even holding down Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Payton’s team is currently in a three-way tie with the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans for the final AFC playoff spot, which seemed pretty much impossible after the first month of competition.
The fans and the media were ruthless against Russell Wilson, but he’s actually been fairly efficient this season, and this team continues to find ways to get wins week in and week out, even when it’s not pretty.
The apology needs to be as loud as the disrespect was, and this Broncos team has done a great job of sticking together and fighting through all the adversity.
