Last season, the Seattle Seahawks were a surprise team, but this season, they may be in danger of missing the playoffs.
They currently sit in sixth place in the NFC with a 6-5 record, but the Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams, and New Orleans Saints, all of whom are 5-6 and just outside of the playoff picture, are on their heels.
Seattle has a difficult game coming up on Thursday against the Dallas Cowboys, and it will be an opportunity for them to make a sizable statement.
Unfortunately for them, Kenneth Walker III, their main threat at running back, is listed as doubtful for that contest, per Adam Schefter.

So far this season, Walker has run for 613 yards and six touchdowns while averaging 4.1 yards per carry.
Without him, the Seahawks will be in some trouble, as they rank only 20th in rushing touchdowns, 21st in yards per carry, and 26th in rushing yards even with him playing 10 games.
If the Cowboys aren’t true Super Bowl contenders, they’re close, and they’re chock-full of talent throughout their roster.
Oft-maligned quarterback Dak Prescott has been playing well lately, and the team has won five of six games ever since getting blasted, 42-10, by the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5.
Even worse for Seattle, Dallas currently has a 13-game home winning steak at AT&T Stadium.
After Thursday, the Seahawks will have an extended rest before two more difficult games — a road contest against the 49ers, who routed them on Thanksgiving Day, and a home contest versus the defending NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles.
