The Philadelphia Eagles are a team on a mission as they continue to rack up wins despite any in-game adversity.
The Eagles had arguably their best game of the 2023 NFL season when they managed to come from behind and beat the Buffalo Bills in an overtime thriller.
Philadelphia faced a deficit early in the first half, though the team stormed back in the second half to force the extra period after Jake Elliott nailed a 59-yard field goal in the rain.
Jalen Hurts was brilliant during the Eagles’ comeback as he gashed the Bills’ defense on the ground every time the pocket around him collapsed.
In overtime, Hurts put the game away when he kept the football himself and ran it up the middle for the game-winning touchdown.
Hurts is a stoic player on the field who rarely shows any emotions, and he explained how he’s able to do that via Eagles Nation.
“I just try to be in the moment, embrace the moment, and enjoy the moment. I’m sorry if you don’t think I find enjoyment in the moments, because I do.. You just never wanna get too high, or get too low. Just keep the focus on the main thing,” Hurts said.

Despite being so young, Hurts is an excellent leader and his mellow attitude allows the team to play their style of football no matter the score.
The Eagles look destined to get back to the Super Bowl after losing last year, and it’s hard to imagine any other team being able to slow them down with how well they’re playing in all three phases.
