The MVP race is in full force at this point in the NFL season.
Fans and analysts are trying to predict who will win the award, as there does not seem to be a runaway candidate this season.
While many names are tossed around, Greg Jennings made a case for C.J. Stroud in a recent appearance on The Carton Show.
“This man has provided this team with an opportunity to win in almost every game he’s been in,” Jennings said of the Houston Texans rookie.
CJ Stroud or Lamar Jackson?
“I’m taking CJ Stroud! This young man has provided this team with an opportunity to win in almost every game he’s been in. I understand who Lamar Jackson is, but if you’re telling me one game today, CJ Stroud I can count on you.” — @GregJennings pic.twitter.com/3OPyBPPq9o

Jennings was fighting the other analysts on this show, who favored Lamar Jackson more.
In his eyes, Stroud is the clear winner.
Stroud has more combined rushing and passing yards, more total touchdowns, and fewer turnovers.
He also has a better passer rating to this point in the season, which seems to be an indicator of potential success.
Stroud is in the driver’s seat in the Offensive Rookie of the Year race, which seems to be a foregone conclusion.
The fact that he is being mentioned in the MVP conversation is unprecedented and a sign of how well he is playing this year.
There has only been one rookie to win league MVP: Jim Brown in 1957.
If Stroud can pull this off, he will cement his role in NFL history and further confirm to the Texans that they have a franchise quarterback for the foreseeable future.
They had an unclear picture of the position when Deshaun Watson left, but it seems like Stroud is here to stay.
