It’s no secret that CeeDee Lamb is the Dallas Cowboys’ alpha receiver.
Lamb is one of the few receivers in the NFL that presents a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses.
They might know he’s getting the ball, but he seems to find ways to get open and create lanes en route to massive performances.
His latest game against the Seattle Seahawks is the most recent example.
Lamb finished this contest with 12 receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown, dominating the Cowboys’ receiving touches and making a marked impact on this game.
While this performance meant a lot to the Cowboys in this particular game, it also helped cement Lamb’s place in team history.
As a graphic from the NFL on CBS points out, this was Lamb’s eighth-career performance with over ten catches and 100 receiving yards, a Cowboys record.

Michael Irvin previously held the record with seven such games, and Jason Witten was right behind him with six.
Lamb has only been in the league for four years and is already breaking records for one of the most historic franchises.
He will look to continue this monumental impact throughout the rest of the regular season and the playoffs.
Players like Lamb, Justin Jefferson, and Ja’Marr Chase are the latest examples of the importance of drafting well, especially in the first round.
Due to the increased levels of competition at the collegiate level, receivers are getting more opportunities to play against future NFL cornerbacks and safeties.
This has made them more NFL-ready, immediately contributing to their respective teams.
How many more records will Lamb break in his Cowboys career?
