The Philadelphia Eagles’ dominance has continued into the 2023 season, beginning the year with a 10-1 record.
They already have several impressive wins this year and face a tough upcoming matchup with the San Francisco 49ers.
Many analysts call this the ‘Game of the Week,’ breaking down key matchups that could impact this contest.
Brian Baldinger joined “The NFL Report” this week to discuss two of his favorite players from the Eagles.
Baldinger pointed to rookies Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis as two players in this one.

Fletcher Cox has dealt with a fair share of injuries lately, leaving his status for this game up in the air.
Both Davis and Carter filled in for him well last week, as Baldinger points out.
They might be rookies, but, as Baldinger says, their NFL ceiling is limitless moving forward if they can come close to Cox’s production in year one.
When looking at this matchup, many analysts point to the Eagles’ defense as one of the most critical aspects of this game.
Their offense is one of the strongest in the league, but they are going up against the 49ers’ defense, which is also one of the league’s best.
If the Eagles’ offense struggles early, it will be up to their defense to lock down the 49ers’ best playmakers, including Christian McCaffrey.
McCaffrey is a game-breaker, making a significant impact on the ground and in the receiving game.
If Davis and Carter can figure out a way to stop him, it will likely be a significant factor in helping the Eagles come away with a win.
