The Dallas Cowboys and Seattle Seahawks squared off in a highly-anticipated clash of titans.
Both teams desperately craved a win, one to prove that they could beat winning teams, and the other to stay afloat in the postseason race.
As expected, this was a high-scoring matchup with both teams going back and forth, and fans expected it to be a dynamic game.
However, referees were constantly stopping game-action with countless penalties, up to the point where even other players had to complain on social media.
That was the case with Philadelphia Eagles star Darius Slay, who took to Twitter to call out the refs for ‘killing the game.’
Refs killing this game man!!

This has been a common trend as of late.
The referees and the new rules have constantly messed with the flow of the game, not to mention the fact that they’re missing obvious calls in every matchup.
Just like what happens with other major tournaments, the real issue is that there’s literally no accountability for referees.
The players and coaches get fined for complaining, yet nothing happens.
Having referees constantly interfering with the game is the easiest way to make people lose all interest and attention to the game, not to mention how it could hurt the league’s credibility.
You know it’s bad when players are risking being fined and losing money for complaining about a divisional rival’s game.
But it’s about time people speak up and the league finally commits to doing something about this; it’s been way too long already.
