Coming into Week 13 of the NFL regular season, there’s one game that everyone will be paying close attention to because it could very well be a preview for an epic showdown in the NFL playoffs between two of the best teams in the NFC.
The Philadelphia Eagles will play host to the San Francisco 49ers in a rematch of last year’s NFC Championship Game, in which Jalen Hurts and company were able to take advantage of the injuries sustained by their opponent in order to advance to the Super Bowl.
This time around, there’s not as much at stake, as it could be argued there’s nothing but bragging rights on the line on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field, as both teams will be playoff-bound and ready to contend for a title when the time comes.
Fortunately for the 49ers, quarterback Brock Purdy will come into this game healthy and ready to show what he might’ve been able to do last year had he been able to stay healthy in the NFC Championship Game.
However, there are a few injuries for the 49ers to be concerned about coming into this NFC showdown, with defensive tackle Arik Armstead dealing with a foot issue being at the top of the list via the team’s Twitter account.

If the 49ers can come out on top against the defending NFC champions on Sunday, it will be a step in the right direction for San Francisco, as it will prove they will be a force to be reckoned with if they meet in the playoffs.
As for the Eagles, a win over the 49ers will almost certainly convince some of their doubters that they are the best team in the league and perhaps the favorite to win it all.
