This season, one of the most surprising teams in the entire NFL has been the Houston Texans, led by first-year head coach DeMeco Ryans and rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud.
Heading into Week 13, the Texans have a 6-5 record after winning four of their last six games, and they are the No. 8 seed in the AFC playoff picture.
Houston has a big game on Sunday against a red-hot Denver Broncos team that has won each of their last five games this season.
Helping the Texans’ chances of getting a win this weekend is the fact that rookie wide receiver Tank Dell is expected to play, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport on Twitter.
#Texans WR Tank Dell, listed as questionable with a calf injury, is expected to go today, source said. Coach DeMeco Ryans was confident all week he would.
In addition, WR Noah Brown, who hasn’t played since early November because of a knee issue, is also expected to go.

With 47 catches for 709 yards and seven touchdowns in 10 games, Dell has been a big part of why Houston has been able to achieve so much unexpected success this season.
In his last four appearances, the Texans rookie wide receiver has found the end zone five times, as he and Stroud have quickly developed a connection out on the field.
On Sunday, Houston and their dynamic rookie duo will welcome the Broncos and quarterback Russell Wilson to their home stadium.
As it was mentioned earlier, Denver has won five straight games, and after starting the 2023 season with a miserable 1-5 record, they’re now 6-5 and the No. 9 seed in the AFC.
With both the Texans and Broncos currently being on the cusp of making the playoffs, Sunday’s matchup in Houston is gigantic.
Not only would a win give either team a boost in the playoff standings, but the winning squad would also hold the head-to-head tiebreaker if both were to finish the 2023 season with the same record.
