Sunday’s slate of Week 13 games around the NFL concluded with a primetime matchup between the Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs from inside historic Lambeau Field.
To the surprise of some, the Packers actually ended up walking out of their home stadium with a 27-19 win over the Chiefs, but the final result didn’t come without controversy.
During the final drive of the game, as Kansas City’s offense was attempting to tie the contest with a touchdown and a two-point conversion, there were multiple questionable calls and non-calls made by the game’s officiating crew.
The Chiefs and their fans were angry with some of the officiating during the final drive, but Fox Sports’ Richard Sherman stated on Monday that Kansas City wouldn’t have had to worry about those officiating decisions if they had just performed better during the entire game (via Undisputed on Twitter).
“At the end of the day the Chiefs didn’t play well enough to win the ball game.”

Sherman doesn’t agree with those who believe the Chiefs “got robbed” of a win on Sunday night in Green Bay.
Instead, he says that Kansas City just “didn’t play well enough to win the ball game.”
The former All-Pro cornerback definitely isn’t wrong when it comes to these thoughts, even if some Chiefs fans don’t want to hear it.
Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes only threw for 210 yards and one touchdown during Sunday’s loss to the Packers.
The Chiefs defense, which has supposedly been much improved this season, allowed the Packers to gain a total of 382 yards, the most the Kansas City defense has given up to an opponent in any game this season.
Yes, the refs made mistakes, but they Chiefs could have done more as well.
