The Dallas Cowboys finally beat a playoff team with a winning record last week.
Nonetheless, as usually happens with them, some downplayed the win because of how many points they allowed and whatnot.
That’s why the Cowboys will look to silence the doubters once and for all and prove that they can sit at a contending team’s table by beating the creme of the crop.
Talking ahead of Sunday’s divisional clash with the Philadelphia Eagles, HC Mike McCarthy stated that his team only has one thing in mind, and that’s getting to 10 wins that day:
“We wanna get to this 10th win,” McCarthy said. “We understand where they are.”

The Cowboys have won four games in a row since that narrow loss to the Eagles.
They did look better than the Eagles during stretches of the game.
The offense outgained them by more than 100 yards, and their defense even locked them up and forced three three-and-outs in their final three drives, but to no avail.
Dak Prescott has usually fared quite well against the Eagles, and they did look quite mortal in their recent loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
The race for the top of the NFC East is as hot as it’s ever been, and a win on Sunday would tie both teams with a 10-3 record.
Also, it would give the Cowboys a huge morale boost ahead of the postseason.
Then again, Nick Sirianni’s team is also stacked and hurt and looking to make a statement after such a painful loss, so this isn’t going to be an easy matchup for any team by any means.
