It has always been the same story with the Dallas Cowboys.
The team has looked spectacular against losing teams, and it seems like their offense has finally reached its peak under Mike McCarthy.
Nonetheless, with their losses to the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles, analysts and fans have concerns about their ability to beat contenders.
However, after watching them play very well as of late, team owner Jerry Jones loves his team’s chances against both teams right now.
In his latest appearance on 105.3 The Fan, Jones stated that he absolutely believes they can beat them in a rematch, stating that it’s never the same when two teams meet again (via Jon Machota).
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on @1053thefan on the 49ers and Eagles: “Do I think we have a chance to beat either one of those teams? Absolutely I do. Absolutely we can. I think we have an outstanding chance here Sunday against Philadelphia. I think it won’t be the same game when we…

Of course, the Cowboys aren’t the same team that was demolished by the Niners early in the season, or at least so it seems.
Also, they were quite close to beating the Eagles, and they’ve been riding a four-game winning streak ever since.
The Eagles got exposed in Sunday’s loss to the Niners, and while Kyle Shanahan’s team has had the Cowboys’ number and seems to be the best team in the league by a significant margin, it’s a fact that the Cowboys are also playing their best football right now.
The Cowboys will have a prime opportunity to prove that on Sunday when they host the Eagles at AT&T Stadium.
Nonetheless, Nick Sirianni’s team will also be extra motivated to prove that they’re as good as their record states, and they’ll look to make a statement against their most hated rivals and divisional rivals.
