You need to have a good quarterback to succeed in the NFL.
It is a passing league, and you will struggle if you cannot consistently pass the ball.
We have seen many top quarterbacks go down this season with season-ending injuries.
It has put a damper on the league and some of its best teams.
Another star signal-caller went down on Monday Night with an injury that did not look good.
Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence needed to be helped off the field after an apparent ankle injury.
Luckily, it appears the injury to Lawrence is not as bad as it looked.
According to Ian Rapoport, Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said Lawrence has “just” a high-ankle sprain.
#Jaguars coach Doug Pederson says QB Trevor Lawrence has “just” a high-ankle sprain, with all other tests coming back clean. Pederson wouldn’t put a timetable on Lawrence’s recovery, but didn’t rule him out for this week. And not season-ending.

This is great news for the Jaguars and the rest of the NFL.
The sport is in a better place when its best players are on the field.
Hopefully, Lawrence will be able to return to the field sooner than later.
After the tough loss on Monday Night, the Jaguars fell to 8-4 on the season.
They still lead the AFC South, but only by one game.
Also, they sit one game back of first place in the conference.
Every team wants to claim the number one seed in the conference with a first-round bye.
That could be especially useful for the Jaguars who are battling injuries other than Lawrence.
Every game counts as these teams continue to jostle for playoff position.
If Lawrence has to miss any time, that could significantly hinder the Jaguars’ playoff chances.
