The discussions surrounding the NFL’s MVP race have heated up significantly.
Fans and analysts are trying to make their best predictions for this award with five weeks to go in the NFL’s regular season.
While there have not been many front-runners, Brock Purdy and Dak Prescott are tied, at least when looking at recent sportsbook odds.
FS1’s “Undisputed” crew recently discussed these two quarterbacks and who they believe is better suited for MVP.
Skip Bayless gave his rationale for Purdy to take home this award, saying he has a “slight edge” over Prescott.

Both quarterbacks have led their teams to great success in the season.
The San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys still have a chance at the No. 1 seed in the NFC, and they have their quarterbacks to thank, who have helped them get into this position.
Before the season started, there were questions about Purdy and Prescott’s abilities to lead their teams to the playoffs again this year.
Both players have done their best to clear up any misconceptions, and in the case of Purdy, he has recovered better than expected from his shoulder injury.
He currently leads Prescott in several statistical categories and is the NFL leader in the majority of significant categories as well.
With this in mind, the regular season has five weeks remaining.
Prescott could still leapfrog Purdy in the coming weeks, at least in Bayless’ eyes.
Only time will tell how the MVP race will unfold, either going to one of these front-runners or another unexpected player.
