The New York Jets are once again all over the news, and it’s not for the best reasons.
Reports state that Zach Wilson has refused to get back on the field because of a perceived risk injury.
HC Robert Saleh decided to turn back to the former No. 2 pick, but he simply doesn’t want to play.
Whether that’s true or not remains to be seen, but judging by Aaron Rodgers’ latest statement, it seems like that report was right on point.
In his latest appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers put his teammates on blast for leaking that kind of stuff, stating that winning organizations have no place for that kind of stuff and that some conversations are meant to be kept private.
With that in mind, former NFL champion Plaxico Burress believes this is actually Rodgers’ fault.
In the latest edition of The Carton Show, Burress stated that this isn’t the first time that Rodgers has been tangled up in a situation like this, adding that some players don’t know how to deal with the NY media.
“I don’t believe it’s an organizational problem for the Jets, I believe it’s an Aaron Rodgers problem. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.”

He talked about how there were several reports about Davante Adams when they were with the Packers, and then none of that got leaked in Las Vegas, stating that Rodgers just seems to be followed by this kind of stuff.
At the end of the day, it never seemed like Wilson had his teammates’ trust, so it wouldn’t be shocking to see them trying to take him down by leaking that stuff.
