The Houston Texans have fared much better than expected this season, as no one thought they would be in the mix for a playoff spot and a divisional banner at this point in the campaign.
But as usually happens with young teams, they still need to get through the finish line, and that’s the hardest part.
That’s why NFL analyst David Jacoby believes this Texans team might not be able to get the job done against the New York Jets on Sunday.
In the latest edition of The Carton Show, the panelists were talking about how the Texans cannot afford to lose two more games because they would be kissing the division goodbye, and Jacoby had some bad news for them.

The Jets don’t even know who’s going to be their starting quarterback for that game and are currently 5.5-point underdogs, but Jacoby predicted that they would still upset them.
Neither Trevor Siemian nor Tim Boyle have proven to be up to the task, and Zach Wilson reportedly doesn’t want to play for the Jets anymore out of fear of getting hurt.
On the other side of the field, we have DeMeco Ryans’ hard-fighting team with a promising and physical defense and the best rookie quarterback in the game.
Of course, these things happen all the time, and the Jets do have an elite defense.
But of all the games the Texans could lose until the end of the season, this might not be a good idea to put them on upset alert.
