The Pittsburgh Steelers dropped the ball again.
Following their head-scratching loss to the Arizona Cardinals, Mike Tomlin’s team dropped another key game, this time to the 2-10 New England Patriots.
Bill Belichick’s team hit the ground running and showed a lot of energy from the start, taking the opening drive 75 yards for a touchdown, getting Ezekiel Elliott involved right away, and with Bailey Zappe alternating erratic with solid throws.
Following the win, star safety Jabrill Peppers talked about how much the team needed this win, especially for the fans and the coaching staff (via Mike Reiss).
“I don’t really like all the flack he’s been getting, because it’s on us as players,” Peppers said.

Peppers stated that he doesn’t like all the criticism Bill Belichick is getting right now, as it’s up to the players to go out there and execute and perform at the highest level, and they haven’t done that this season.
Belichick’s future with the organization is a huge question mark, even after signing a contract extension mid-season.
Some believe Robert Kraft is ready to pull the plug on him after two decades-plus, with multiple teams potentially looking to acquire his contract via trade.
Belichick has earned the benefit of the doubt after everything he has done for the organization, and no one can take that away from him.
The Patriots are en route of getting the No. 2 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, and that win pretty much ruled them out of contention for the first selection.
