The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles are set to square off in a crucial divisional matchup on Sunday.
The Eagles need the win to secure the division and get back on their feet after a tough loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
The Cowboys, on the other hand, could regain control of the NFC East and even of the entire conference, not to mention the fact that they would make a statement by proving that they can, in fact, beat Super Bowl contenders.
With that in mind, Domonique Foxworth argued that the Cowboys ‘obviously’ have a better team than the Eagles right now.
Who is the better team between the Cowboys and the Eagles?

Foxworth stated that the Cowboys have finally figured things out at the quarterback position, whereas the Eagles are struggling because of Jalen Hurts’ health.
On top of the Cowboys being the better team by most advanced metrics, he believes people overreacted to David Carr’s take on Marcus Mariota starting over Hurts until he gets back to full strength.
He explained that the Eagles’ offense has taken a step back because they haven’t been able to use the designed QB run.
Also, the Eagles’ defense has regressed vastly from last season, both in personnel and performance, so it’s the perfect time for the Cowboys to finally take them down.
Needless to say, the Cowboys still need to prove themselves, as they have a long-withstanding history of struggling against contending teams.
But it looks like this is the perfect storm for the Cowboys to take over and make a big statement once and for all.
