The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles have one of the best rivalries in the NFL; it just means more.
Add the pressure of a divisional title and potentially the first seed in the NFC, and things get a little more intense.
With that in mind, former Eagles star Michael Vick made an appearance on the NFL on FOX Podcast to talk about how different the preparation for those games was.
“If you don’t win, you’re gonna hear it,” Vick said.
Lots of preparation goes into the Eagles-Cowboys game.

Vick admitted that everybody — especially him — needed to be at the top of their game in terms of preparation, film study, and whatnot whenever they had to square off against the Cowboys, as you were going to hear about it all week if you lost, especially if you didn’t perform well.
The Cowboys are one of the biggest markets in the league, so they have a big chunk of the news cycle, and losing to them could be a bit of a PR nightmare.
On top of that, the Eagles have one of the most passionate fanbases in the entire nation, and the fans can hate you as quickly as they fall in love with you.
This will be one of the most crucial Eagles-Cowboys matchups in recent history.
There’s a lot at stake, not just for Sunday’s game but because of all the postseason implications it could have, both from a seeding and a physiological perspective.
This will be a must-watch game, and you better believe no one would want to be in one of those player’s shoes right now.
