The Buffalo Bills could get a little bit healthier this week in a huge matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Bills need all the help they can get, despite putting up the fifth-best scoring offense in the league.
Buffalo lost three of its past four games before it headed into the team’s Week 13 bye and is currently on the outside of the playoff field looking in.
One key piece who could return this week is tight end Dawson Knox, who missed the past five games with a wrist injury.
He could be activated for Week 14, according to Bills head coach Sean McDermott, after a good week of practice.
Sean McDermott said that TE Dawson Knox has a “good chance” to be activated for Sunday’s game vs. the Chiefs. Said that Knox has had a good week.
McDermott said that CB Kaiir Elam most likely won’t be activated for the game.

While Knox isn’t nearly as valuable of a pass-catcher as, say, wide receiver Stefon Diggs or rookie tight end Dalton Kincaid, his presence would be huge for the team.
Knox had 15 receptions for 102 yards and one touchdown on the season before his injury.
And while his play may not have decided the outcome of games, the Bills were a solid 4-3 in games he played this season.
Knox is also a great run-blocker and earned a 62.9 grade from Pro Football Focus prior to the 2023 season.
His availably on offense would also take some pressure off Diggs, Kincaid, and wide receivers Gabriel Davis and Khalil Shakir.
The Bills badly need a win this week, and Knox could be the missing piece for Buffalo’s playoff run.
A win over the Chiefs would push the Bills back into AFC playoff contention – especially if other teams lose in Week 14.
