Rejoice, Minnesota Vikings fans and fantasy football players alike: Justin Jefferson is finally back.
The Vikings officially took Jefferson off the injury report after seven games and eight weeks away from the field with a hamstring injury via Ian Rapoport.
During that time, Minnesota won five of seven games without their star pass-catcher.
But his return will be much anticipated for a Vikings team in the playoff hunt.

Before the injury, Jefferson caught 36 passes for 571 yards and three touchdowns.
But he suffered a significant hamstring injury in Week 5 that knocked him out for the next two months.
During that span, the Vikings lost quarterback Kirk Cousins to a season-ending Achilles injury.
Neither injury has stopped Minnesota from winning, though.
The Vikings won two games with Joshua Dobbs under center but fell in their previous two games by three total points.
The hope is that Jefferson’s return will elevate the offense further at 6-6 and with five games left in the regular season.
The Vikings got decent production out of Jefferson’s backups while he was out, though.
First-round rookie Jordan Addison is second on the team in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns behind tight end T.J. Hockenson and is third among rookies with 54 receptions for 686 yards and seven touchdowns.
Hockenson, meanwhile, has 80 receptions for 786 yards and five touchdowns and is on pace to set career-highs.
Minnesota needs to re-ignite a winning steak to make the playoffs and battles two teams on the road in the Cincinnati Bengals and Las Vegas Raiders over the next two weeks.
A divisional stretch awaits the Vikings after those two games with a matchup against the Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers.
