The Philadelphia Eagles need all the help they can get in a crucial Week 14 matchup against their NFC East rival Dallas Cowboys.
The Eagles lead the Cowboys in the division standings and the San Francisco 49ers in the conference standings, but could easily drop to the fifth seed in the playoff field if they lose this game to Dallas.
Fortunately, a key offensive player is expected to return after a three-game absence.
Tight end Dallas Goedert, who suffered a forearm injury the last time the Eagles played the Cowboys in Week 9, is officially off Philadelphia’s injury report and is expected to suit up, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Eagles’ TE Dallas Goedert is not listed on Philadelphia’s injury report and is expected to play Sunday night vs. the Cowboys.

Goedert never landed on injured reserve despite his injury, likely because the Eagles’ Week 10 bye fell immediately after he got hurt.
Now, the Eagles will get back another pass-catcher for their offense alongside wide receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.
Goedert wasn’t sensational before his injury, but he still managed 38 receptions for 410 yards and two touchdowns.
Those numbers are all still third on the team.
The Eagles only lost one game without Goedert, too: a 41-19 blowout loss to the 49ers this past week.
Goedert’s return should open the offense up a little bit more now that quarterback Jalen Hurts will have another reliable pass-catcher to target – especially in the middle of the field.
Hurts mostly attempted passes either outside the hash marks to his receivers or behind/at the line of scrimmage to his running backs.
A fully-operational Eagles defense is deadly – just look at their 2022 stats – and Goedert only makes Philadelphia a potent threat in the NFC.
