After a rough start to the 2023 NFL season, the Green Bay Packers suddenly find themselves right in the thick of the 2023 NFL Playoff race.
The Packers have reeled off three wins in a row and are clinging to the final Wild Card spot in the NFC.
Jordan Love is looking like the franchise quarterback the organization was hoping for when they selected him in the first round years ago, an encouraging development for the Packers who have the roster and talent to make some noise in the postseason.
Green Bay has an excellent chance to keep their momentum going when they take on the New York Giants on Monday Night Football.
The Giants are well on their way to elimination from playoff contention, though the Packers are going to have to beat them without one of their key defensive pieces.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Jaire Alexander is ruled out against New York.
Packers downgraded CB Jaire Alexander to out for Monday night’s game vs. the Giants.

Alexander was able to get a couple of limited practices in throughout the week, but the cornerback will miss another game with the shoulder injury he sustained against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 9.
When healthy, Alexander is one of the best defensive backs in the league though the Packers have been able to get by with the rest of their personnel.
Fortunately for Green Bay, New York doesn’t feature many high-profile receiving options so the team should be able to handle business and solidify their postseason slot in what’s looking like an open conference.
