The Chicago Bears have provided one of the most unique storylines throughout the 2023 NFL Season.
They entered the year with high hopes, hoping to fight for the NFC North division race and try to make the playoffs.
If successful, this would have been their first playoff appearance in the Justin Fields era.
However, at 5-8, the Bears are effectively out of the postseason race.
They’ll have to reevaluate their roster in the offseason, hoping to find a way to break through in the 2024 campaign.
When thinking about the Bears’ roster moving forward, Dan Orlovsky recently called them “interesting” in a video he shared on Twitter.
I think the Bears situation is getting very interesting https://t.co/QiGITMz8iD

Orlovsky rewatched this weekend’s game between the Detroit Lions and Bears, where he talked about Fields’ play.
While many are out on Fields and his ability to lead this team in the future, Orlovsky called him “special” and said there is still a shot for him.
In their win over the Lions, Fields threw for 223 yards and a touchdown, a performance that netted him a passer rating of 88.3.
He also added 58 yards on the ground, leading the Bears’ rushing attack and scoring a rushing touchdown.
Fields might not have put up a 300-yard game through the air, but as Orlovsky mentioned, he keeps playing well enough to keep his job next year.
If his situation improves, the sky is the limit, at least in Orlovsky’s eyes.
The Bears are an organization that has struggled for the past several years.
With a quarterback that has above-average performances, paired with a hopefully improving cast of characters around him, Fields could find a path to sustained success moving forward.
