The Miami Dolphins entered Week 14 in desperate need of a win.
However, shortly after the game started, Tyreek Hill entered the medical tent, leaving his status in the air.
He returned to the game, but it seemed too late for him to make his typical impact.
After seeing the difference in the Dolphins’ offense with and without Hill, Shannon Sharpe, and Chad Ochocinco talked more in-depth about Hill as an MVP candidate.
According to Ochocinco via their “Nightcap” podcast, the Dolphins’ energy “went out the window” without Hill.

Both of these former athletes recognized Hill’s impact on the Dolphins offense.
Without him, Tua Tagovailoa seemed lost, unable to connect with his favorite target.
Jaylen Waddle also got injured in this game, leaving Tagovailoa without his top two offensive options.
At least to Ochocinco and Sharpe, this solidified Hill’s status as an MVP candidate.
This award has gone to quarterbacks for the last 10+ years, but they genuinely believe that Hill makes that big of a difference to this organization.
He uses game-breaking speed to get past opponents, which gets him open and leads to big scores.
With that option removed from the Dolphins’ playbook, all hope appeared lost for their offense.
They still managed to score points against the Tennessee Titans, but they fell short in a game they had to win.
Fans will be interested to see what Hill’s status is like moving forward and if he can play in the Dolphins’ next few games.
With upcoming matchups against the New York Jets, Dallas Cowboys, Baltimore Ravens, and Buffalo Bills, the Dolphins will need all the help they can get.
