Not so long ago, the New York Giants weren’t exactly fun to watch.
HC Brian Daboll looked frustrated and done with Daniel Jones, and there wasn’t anything positive to say about the season.
Fast forward to today, and the tables have turned in the Big Apple.
The Giants have won three games in a row and are now 5-8, and while the playoffs seem out of the picture, they’re proving that they can be a competitive team for years to come.
Daboll may have found his QB for the future in undrafted rookie Tommy DeVito, and it’s become more than evident that they’ve developed a strong relationship.
That was on full display in Daboll’s NSFW vote of confidence for his young QB before he threw the game-winning touchdown vs. the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football (via BR / Gridiron).
“Go out and rip that son of a B****,” Daboll said to DeVito.

Brian Daboll has proven to be a great offensive mind and very good at developing quarterbacks.
He even made Daniel Jones look good before he signed that big contract, and while he had seemingly lost faith in him this season, he may have found a new star pupil.
DeVito is playing like the kind of guy who has nothing to lose, and it shows.
He hasn’t turned the ball over during the three-game winning streak, and he’s just fearless and confident out there.
Jones will be out for half of the 2024 season at the very least, and that leaves the door wide open for DeVito to take the reins of the offense for good.
