The NFL season is full of surprises.
Teams can get hot in the middle of a game they were not supposed to win, providing an upset for the ages.
Any given Sunday, so they say.
The 2023 NFL Season has hosted significant upsets thus far, but Week 14 took the cake.
As Adam Schefter pointed out on Twitter, there were eight wins from underdogs this week, the largest single-week total of the season.
Including Monday night’s Giants’ and Titans’ victories, eight underdogs won in Week 14, the most in any NFL week this season.

The Tennessee Titans and New York Giants both won their Monday Night Football matchups as underdogs.
The Titans were the week’s biggest underdog, as sportsbooks projected the Miami Dolphins as 14-point favorites.
While it took a fourth-quarter comeback, they overcame all odds, beating the Dolphins.
The same can be said about the Giants, although they were only 6.5-point underdogs to the Green Bay Packers.
Regardless of how many points it was by, eight underdog victories in a week is unprecedented.
Sports bettors likely had a rough time during the NFL season this week unless they decided to root for the underdogs.
It would have been a profitable week to believe in the teams that were otherwise counted out.
This is one of the reasons the NFL is the most-watched league in the United States.
On a given week, the tides can change, and teams can find ways to win in unexpected manners.
How many more upsets will take place throughout the rest of the year?
With four more weeks remaining of the regular season, anything can happen in the NFL.
