Usually, when teams in the NFL build state-of-the-art stadiums, the NFL grants the city the honor and the lucrative opportunity to host the Super Bowl, and that is precisely what has happened in Los Angeles.
Even though SoFi Stadium has already hosted a Super Bowl in the short time that it has been built, the league has already approved the Los Angeles arena getting a second Super Bowl.
According to Jonathan Jones of NFL on CBS, the NFL owners have approved Super Bowl LXI being played at SoFi Stadium.

Even though SoFi Stadium was built to have two NFL teams playing there throughout the regular season and beyond, with the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers now calling it home, the stadium was also built for other big events like the Super Bowl.
Ironically enough, the Rams were able to get to the Super Bowl when it was set to be played at SoFi Stadium and came out on top, getting the best of Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals in Los Angeles that year.
The Rams and Chargers will get another shot to win a Super Bowl title on their home field in only a few years, and the way both teams are going, there’s no telling if either one of them will even be close to reaching the big game in 2027.
Even though the Chargers will likely still be led by superstar quarterback Justin Herbert, who will undoubtedly draw talent to the team in the coming years, Stafford will probably be retired by then, meaning the rebuilding process might’ve begun by that time for the Rams.
