The Cincinnati Bengals have been able to stack a couple of wins together after their Week 14 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.
The Bengals offense has rediscovered itself after losing Joe Burrow for the remainder of the 2023 NFL season due to a wrist injury.
Backup quarterback Jake Browning has been solid as the starter, and against the Colts he put up 275 passing yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.
Browning has been spreading the ball around to some of the lesser-known names on the team, almost at the cost of Ja’Marr Chase.
Chase had a quiet game in the win over Indianapolis as he recorded just three catches for 29 yards.
However, Chase made it known that he considers himself the best wide receiver in the league via Jeremy Rauch of FOX.
“I’m the best. I don’t feel like we’re the two best. I’m the best,” Chase said.
“I’m the best. I don’t feel like we’re the two best. I’m the best.”
Ja’Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson top two? Ja’Marr would only say he’s No. 1.

The conversation for best receiver in the league changes every season, and Chase certainly has a case to be the best given his talents.
Justin Jefferson is typically mentioned as the best in the league, though injuries have hurt his stock this year.
However, Chase failed to mention Tyreek Hill who is firmly in the running for the MVP award given what he’s meant to the Miami Dolphins.
Hill is probably the correct answer, but that shouldn’t take anything away from Chase who is as good as anybody at his position.
Chase is one of the few players in the NFL that can take over a game, and it’ll be interesting to see how he stacks up against Jefferson in their Week 15 matchup.
