A wheelchair can be quite difficult to acquire for some people.
They are not exactly cheap.
Fortunately for a group of children in the Dominican Republic, Toronto Blue Jays star Vladimir Guerrero Jr. cares about his surroundings and tries to help those in need.
The Blue Jays posted a wholesome tweet describing Vladdy’s most recent act of kindness.
“’To see these children smile fills my heart with love and joy.’ Vladdy and his VG27 foundation – in partnership with the International Wheelchair Foundation – distributed wheelchairs to those in need in Don Gregorio, Dominican Republic,” they tweeted, with pictures of the event.

You can see Guerrero sharing some beautiful moments with the kids, and the smiles on their faces knowing that life will be a bit easier from now on just by virtue of having a tool to move around with.
MLB stars like Guerrero, talented and determined, can have a good chance of making life-changing money.
Not everyone, however, tries to help those in need like the 2021 AL MVP runner-up does.
Those who do can enjoy the gratitude of young fans who look up to them, and you can’t put a price on that.
Guerrero and the Blue Jays are trying to recruit top players in the 2023-24 offseason.
They swung and missed (barely) with Shohei Ohtani, but can still add Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Cody Bellinger, and other talented players.
There is still a lot of talent available, and the team wants to bring in players who can help Guerrero in the lineup.
In the meantime, the slugger is making sure to leave his mark off the field, and that’s always great to see.
