It seems as though every single week, San Francisco 49ers star quarterback Brock Purdy is put under the microscope and judged harshly for the way he plays, whether he torches opponents or struggles, which doesn’t happen very often.
Coming into Week 15’s matchup with the division-rival Arizona Cardinals, Purdy was in the NFL MVP conversation, along with a few other star quarterbacks around the league, like Dak Prescott, Lamar Jackson, and Jalen Hurts.
Fortunately for Purdy, he might have become the favorite to win the regular-season award on Sunday with an incredible performance against the Cardinals on the road at State Farm Stadium.
In a blowout against the Cardinals, Purdy threw for four touchdowns without turning the football over and could very well be the MVP favorite via B/R Gridiron.
Did Brock Purdy just solidify himself as the MVP favorite ?

With the 49ers having a favorable schedule the rest of the way in the regular season, the 49ers quarterback has an ideal opportunity to make a strong case to be the league’s MVP if he can continue playing at this level in the final three games.
The real test for Purdy will be next week on Christmas Day when the 49ers host the Baltimore Ravens at Levi’s Stadium, which could very well be a Super Bowl preview between the best in the NFC and the best in the AFC going head-to-head.
It will be a statement game with both teams basically playing for playoff seeding at this point, with Purdy and Jackson having more to play for as they could be the top-two candidates for MVP.
