The Jacksonville Jaguars entered the season as one of the dark horses to come out of the AFC.
And while they’re still atop the AFC South division and have had some impressive performances, that distinction might not suit them anymore.
As a matter of fact, they’re not even a lock to make the playoffs at this point.
That’s why NFL analyst Craig Carton stated that Jaguars fans should be concerned right now.
In the latest edition of his show, he pointed out the fact that they have the same record (8-6) as the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans.
“If I’m a Jaguar fan, I’m concerned.”

The Colts are currently a Wild Card team, while the Texans continue to be in the hunt.
That means the Jaguars would pretty much have to win out to secure their division and a postseason berth.
And while their remaining schedule isn’t that complicated, Trevor Lawrence is currently in the concussion protocol, meaning he could be forced to miss their next game.
The Jaguars have dates with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Carolina Panthers, and Tennessee Titans ahead of them.
Two of those three teams have already been eliminated from playoff contention, but we’ve seen those kinds of teams play spoiler way too many times in the past already.
The Jaguars have been fairly good this season, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see them become a bit of a powerhouse under Doug Pederson’s guidance.
But they have yet to prove themselves at the highest level, and they have to be very careful not to crumble under pressure this time.
