The Dallas Cowboys’ five-game winning streak ended in Week 15 after the Buffalo Bills cruised to a 31-10 victory at home.
Quarterback Dak Prescott finished with just 134 scoreless passing yards and one interception while the team finished with only 195 net yards and one touchdown.
The game had serious playoff implications as well – especially if the Philadelphia Eagles win on Monday night – because of how it affects the NFC East and NFC standings.
The Cowboys likely gave up their chance to win the No. 1 seed in the conference and would need the Eagles to lose at least one more game to secure the NFC East title and home playoff game.
After the big loss, ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith had some words about the state of the Cowboys and why they folded so easily to the Bills this week.
“They’re bullies,” Smith said Monday. “And every time they run up against somebody their own size, they get punked.”
Stephen A. Smith hasn’t slowed down yet while discussing the Cowboys.

Harsh words for a 10-4 team – but not entirely wrong, either.
Just take a look at these game splits for Dallas: All four of the Cowboys’ losses have come in road games and three of the four losses were against teams with winning records while eight of their wins were against teams with losing records and only one was against a team with a winning record.
Those aren’t recipes for success, especially when Dallas could play at least one road playoff game and will more than likely face teams with winning records in the postseason.
The Cowboys have proven to be one of the best teams in the NFL on paper, but haven’t looked so good when the match is a bit even.
