NFL analysts and fans all agree that the NFC South isn’t the best division in the league.
Nonetheless, we cannot say it’s not competitive, as the race to the top has been perhaps the closest in the entire NFL.
With that in mind, former Super Bowl champion Richard Sherman predicts whoever wins the division is going to have to wait until Week 17 to crown itself.
In the latest edition of “Undisputed,” Sherman explained how the game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints would decide the division winner, and he seemed to give the Bucs a bit of an edge.

Baker Mayfield is playing some of the best football of his career, and he’s coming off perhaps the best performance he’s had since he entered the National Football League.
Todd Bowles’ defense seems to be peaking at the right time, and they still have an elite wide receiver duo in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.
The Saints also have a solid team and several playmakers on both ends of the field, but HC Dennis Allen has left a lot to be desired since taking over for Sean Payton, and Derek Carr has failed to live up to the hype that came with him when he first made it to the team.
The Bucs have already beaten the Saints on the road this season, so you know the Saints have that game circled on their calendars as well, and as with most divisional games, it might come down to the wire.
