The Seattle Seahawks pulled off something that not many fans or analysts expected.
They beat the Philadelphia Eagles in their Monday Night Football matchup by coming back in the fourth quarter, stunning the reigning NFC champs.
While the Seahawks have a good defense, they have had a tough time against some of their top opponents this year.
That changed on Monday night, even though Drew Lock led them.
Lock started in relief of Geno Smith, who is dealing with a groin injury.
In a clip shared by the NFL on CBS, Lock shared the support he has gotten from Smith, who continues to encourage him.
“I appreciate him more than words can describe,” Lock said.
“The encouragement that he’s given me … I appreciate him more than words can describe.”

At times, veteran quarterbacks can be jealous of a quarterback who is starting instead of them.
Yes, that particular player might be injured, but it’s still a blow to their ego that a player they see as inferior has a chance to lead their team.
Judging by Lock’s comments, Smith has been a great mentor to him.
He has seen a lot in the NFL and likely has invaluable experiences to share with Lock.
Smith would love an opportunity to help bring the Seahawks to the playoffs, and whatever wisdom he can impart now goes a long way.
With this impressive win, the Seahawks jumped back into the postseason hunt.
They are on the precipice of a playoff berth, tied with the Los Angeles Rams with a 7-7 record.
If they can win out, odds are likely that this team will be playing into mid-January, if not later.
Can the Seahawks get it done knowing their current quarterback situation?
