The answer to which AFC team is the best in the conference could go a few different ways.
There are the two double-digit win teams in the Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins, as well as the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs and the ever-dangerous and currently-ascending Buffalo Bills.
All have their advantages and their flaws, but ESPN’s Joy Taylor thinks the answer should just be one team: The Ravens.
“I demand we put a little bit of respect on the Baltimore Ravens,” Taylor said on Tuesday. ” …They’re the best team in the AFC.”
Joy Taylor is outraged by even the question.
“Do the Baltimore Ravens not exist? … I demand we put a little respect on the Baltimore Ravens.”

Not only is Baltimore at the top of its division, the Ravens’ 11-3 record is at the top of the AFC and is tied for the NFL’s best with the NFC-leading San Francisco 49ers.
The Ravens have the highest point differential in the AFC at plus-159, which is third-highest in the NFL behind the 49ers and Dallas Cowboys.
Because of that, Baltimore ranks fourth in offensive scoring and second in points allowed.
Quarterback Lamar Jackson is also an MVP candidate with 3,105 passing yards and 17 passing touchdowns as well as 741 rushing yards for five touchdowns.
The Ravens are riding a four-game winning streak since Week 11 after dispatching the Jacksonville Jaguars this past Sunday night.
This has all the makings of a Super Bowl contender, and they’ll face off against the NFC’s top contender this Monday night on the road against the San Francisco 49ers.
A win in Week 16 would almost assuredly decide the AFC’s top seed in the playoffs, though Baltimore still faces a feisty Miami Dolphins team in Week 17.
