The Cincinnati Bengals were able to battle through adversity to get a huge comeback win on Saturday.
The Minnesota Vikings seemed in full control of the game before Zac Taylor’s team picked up the slack in the second half.
It clearly meant a lot for QB Jake Browning, who was still hurt by the fact that the Vikings cut him.
Following the win, he rushed to tell the camera, “They should have never cut me.”
Now, a couple of days later, he cooled down a little and admitted that his emotions got the best of him.
That’s why, talking to the media, he claimed that he regretted doing so and praised the team’s effort in getting the win (via Caleb Noe).
“I fully lost my mind … We played unbelievable at a lot of positions that were not QB.”

Nonetheless, it’s not like he was disrespectful or mean at all.
If anything, he may have a valid point.
That’s the beauty of sports; it gives people a chance to redeem themselves and prove the doubters wrong every single time they have an opportunity to set foot on the field.
Browning didn’t take the attention away from his teammates or make it extremely personal, nor did it lead to any sort of confrontation.
Still, it’s nice to see him trying to uplift his teammates amid such a complicated season, even though he most definitely earned bragging rights over the team that had a chance to play him.
The Bengals are still in playoff contention, and Browning has plenty to do with that.
