The Minnesota Vikings’ season seemed doomed from the very moment Justin Jefferson fell with an injury.
The LSU product had rarely missed a snap in his career, and having him miss an extended period of time made it feel like there was no point in competing anymore, especially considering their record.
But the Vikings have been able to fight their way back into postseason contention, and now that Jefferson is going to be on the field, anything can happen.
With that in mind, Kay Adams asked the talented wideout what he learned from his time away from the game.
Jefferson admitted that what he learned was to be patient, as he went from not being injury-prone and being active for every single game of his career to watching from the sidelines, which is obviously frustrating (va Up & Adams).

On top of that, Jefferson admitted that there were some frustrating days during physical therapy, which is something he was never used to because he was accustomed to having a healthy body.
Some people even thought Jefferson was going to shut himself down for the season if the Vikings weren’t in a good position to compete by the time he was ready to play again, as he didn’t even get the contract he was looking for last offseason.
But he’s just too in love with the game of football, and he’s the kind of guy who just lives and breathes to be out there on the field, and he’ll do whatever it takes to help his team secure another postseason berth.
