The Cincinnati Bengals are still very much alive in the playoff picture in the AFC, with the team sporting a record of 8-6 and needing to win as many games as possible with three regular-season games left on the schedule.
Unfortunately for Cincinnati, the Bengals could be without superstar wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, who is currently listed as questionable for Saturday’s game against the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers with a shoulder injury.
With Chase potentially out for this weekend’s divisional showdown on the road at Acrisure Stadium, Cincinnati will likely lean on wide receiver Tee Higgins to pick up the slack, but he doesn’t view this as a role change.
Higgins was asked about Chase’s potential absence and how that’ll impact what he does on the field against the Steelers on Saturday, via Mike Petraglia.

Clearly, Higgins doesn’t see his role changing against the Steelers, even though not having Chase on the field will make a huge difference in how the Bengals offense functions, especially against a defense like Pittsburgh’s.
In the 10 games he’s played for the Bengals this season, Higgins has caught 36 passes for 497 yards and four touchdowns, which is a bit below where he’d usually be at this point in the season.
Even though this hasn’t been the best season for Higgins in Cincinnati, he’s still a force to be reckoned with and will likely be a popular target for quarterback Jake Browning this weekend when the Bengals try to pull out a win over the division-rival Steelers.
