Tommy DeVito is making the most of his time in the NFL spotlight.
Not only is he looking to cement his claim as a viable starting quarterback, but he’s also making business moves to capitalize on his ever-growing brand.
The New York Giants quarterback has filed several trademarks, including “Tommy Cutlets” and “Passing Paisano” to eventually sell branded food items like chicken, pasta, and pizza sauces, according to reporter Darren Rovell.
Fans took notice as well and had a lot to say about DeVito’s plans outside of the NFL – some positive, others not so much.
By the time these get approved his NFL fame is going to be over.

Omg how ridiculous is that. Well real Italian make their own sauces. Because you can throw a football doesn’t make you know how to make a nice gravy.

The Giants have QBs best known for being Chicken Based and throwing 10 cent pocket change 3 yards downfield. Might be time for Schoen and Daboll to draft a real one.

DeVito’s business exploits were in the news earlier this week already after the quarterback appeared at a New Jersey pizzeria following reports his agent doubled his appearance price.
He showed up for free and changed marketing agents to ensure that the situation wouldn’t happen again.
DeVito had the Giants on a three-game winning streak as well before being walloped by the New Orleans Saints on the road, 24-6, this past week.
The undrafted rookie mustered just 177 passing yards with no touchdowns and was sacked seven times in the loss.
Backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor is healthy now and came in for a few plays after DeVito was being checked out for a concussion.
The DeVito train will continue to roll for the Giants, though, so long as the quarterback remains healthy.
He’s proven to be an adept passer and runner, so it stands to reason he could stake a claim to the No. 2 role for the 2024 season as well with Daniel Jones still recovering from an ACL injury.
But just in case his NFL career doesn’t work out, DeVito will have his business endeavors.
