The Cincinnati Bengals are currently focused on winning their final three regular-season games against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Cleveland Browns, which will be a tall task for the team that lost superstar quarterback Joe Burrow earlier in the year to a season-ending injury that required surgery.
Even though the team is solely focused on trying to clinch a spot in the upcoming NFL playoffs, the team did get some news about Burrow this week, which is a little concerning due to the length of time he’ll be on the mend.
Although Jake Browning has done better than expected filling in for Burrow and might be able to lead the Bengals into the playoffs, the team is obviously much better off with their superstar leading the charge, as the franchise has been a legitimate title contender ever since he took over a few years ago.
According to Kelsey Conway of USA Today, Burrow has undergone surgery to repair his wrist injury, with his timeline to return to the football field being four to six months, via Dov Kleiman.

Fortunately for Cincinnati, it appears Burrow will be good to go when the start of next season rolls around in September of next year, but this will be a lengthy recovery process for the superstar, who always seems to be on the mend from some ailment.
Hopefully, for the sake of Burrow and the Bengals’ future, he can bounce back quickly from this injury and return to form ahead of the 2024 campaign.
